Around 1000 people came out for the second annual benefit Pig Roast this year and it was a truely successful event. Downtown was filled with the smell of food and good old Rutland spirit. Children explored the parking lot full of activities, Rick Reddington and his band entertained the crowds with great music, raffle tickets were offered and plates after plates were filled with a $5 dinner that warmed the soul.
At the end of the night the event yielded almost $9000 for Wonderfeet. Another step in raising the funds to expand Wonderfeet and open new opportunities for our community and it’s children.
Many thanks to Roots the Restaurant, Earth Waste & Metal, Celebration Rentals, Greenscreen Graphics, Brown Boar Farm, Long Trail, Rick Reddington, Radical Roots and all the wonderful volunteers who made the event a huge success!
