Wonderfeet Healthy Living Camp Registration Form
Rutland Regional Medical Center and Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum are hosting a four-week Healthy Living Camp series created to help parents/caregivers and their children five and under learn about healthy lifestyles, nutrition and fitness. The Healthy Living Camps are designed around the principle of purposeful play and are a part of Rutland Regional’s commitment to helping families raise healthy children.
Healthy Living Camp sessions will begin on Wednesday, April 22 from 10-11:30 am at Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum on 11 Center Street, Rutland, VT. Additional sessions will take place on April 29, May 6 and May 13at Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum.
Each session features activities that provide learning opportunities and benefits to children and their families in a fun and supportive environment. A light snack will be served and there will be ample time to explore Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum exhibits.
Wednesday, April 22 -My Body Through a variety of fun activities children will explore how their body works inside and out from learning about their skeletons and muscles to their heart and lungs.
Wednesday, April 29-Healthy Eating Busy schedules can make it a challenge for families to make healthy food choices, through a variety of hands-on activities, children will discover healthy foods and how eating right helps them to grow strong and healthy.
Wednesday, May 6 – Movement Using music and a variety of play activities, children will discover how their body moves and the importance of being active.
Wednesday, May 13 My Feelings Through song and craft activities, children will learn how to handle their emotions in healthy ways.
Through a generous gift from Rutland Regional Medical Center, classes are free for parents/caregivers and their children. Class size is limited to 16 families per session and pre-registration is required. For more information please call 802.282.2678.
