Paula_T_2016Wonderfeet Kid’s Museum has named Paula Townsend as their new Education Coordinator. In addition to 28 years as an elementary classroom educator, Paula brings her experience with the Next Generation Science Standards and her knowledge of curriculum to the position.

Said Townsend, “After moving on from so many years in the classroom, I’m excited to be using my skills, experience, and knowledge in a new context while, at the same time, continuing to work with children. Townsend continued, “ The Wonderfeet Education Coordinator position is the perfect blend of new opportunity and my skill set and I’m eager to help build the Museums’ outreach to our local schools.”

In addition to bringing her education experience to Wonderfeet, Paula was also the director for Camp Invention at the Rutland Town School-integrating math, science, and art through hands-on activities. Camp Invention is a one-week outreach program full of inquiry, creating, building, playing, and team work of Inventure Place from The National Inventors Hall of Fame in Akron, Ohio.
