Rutland, VT– 802Go!, a series of outdoor events to encourage children and families to connect with other community members while engaging in healthy, recreational and educational activities will begin on Saturday, June 4 at Rutland Regional Medical Center from 10am – 1pm. The 802Go! Family Fun Series is free and includes a sunflower and pumpkin seed planting and other activities including educational and movement games along with the opportunity to make bird feeders and other take-away items. Light refreshments will be available.
802 Go! Family Fun Series is a collaborative partnership of Carpenter and Costin’s Come Alive Outside; College of St. Joseph Marble Valley Grows; Rutland Recreation and Parks Department, Rutland Regional Medical Center and Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum with a mission to promote positive and healthy lifestyles.
