Wonderfeet Closed for Emergency Repairs

As many of you know, Wonderfeet has been briefly closed while we ride out the latest COVID surge in our community. Yesterday, staff was at the museum preparing for a small group program when we noticed a drip coming from the ceiling. What seemed to be a small leak and a few puddles was revealed to be a much larger problem stemming from the plumbing in the building above us.

There has been structural damage and contamination that will need to be professionally dealt with and damage to one of our larger exhibits. We aren’t sure exactly how long it will take to resolve and unfortunately there is no way for us to safely operate until then.

For the past two years, we have been dealing with a global pandemic and throughout that time, Wonderfeet has still found a way to offer programs, private bookings, homeschool club, and weekly play and support group for new parents. Unfortunately, this is one situation that we just cannot find a way to work through.

We will keep you all updated on a timeline for when we can reopen. We will work with all of our member families to extend your memberships for an additional month in 2022 and be contacting everyone who has groups or events scheduled at the museum.

Thank you for your support and patience during this time.
