Tinker, create, and explore.
Monday, February 12, 2018, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Sign up deadline is Thursday, February 8.
Opportunity for homeschool families
A time for homeschool students to tinker, create, and explore science concepts at Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum.
Join us as we delve into the world of astonishing liquids. Did you know that fluids have their own properties and behaviors? We spend our time investigating the properties of liquids, how they behave, and how we can put liquids to work for us. With hands-on exploration and instruction geared for various ages and learning styles, we will have fun while tie-dying milk and making colors swirl, constructing liquid rainbows, and playing with water’s potential.
We will also explore principles of hydraulics as we build hydraulic machines that will take the load off. After a little “wrestling” with water we aim to grow an understanding of hydrodynamics (water/liquid in motion) while designing and testing self-propelled watercraft. This is only the tip of the iceberg. We hope you can join us for Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum’s February Tinker Club: Astonishing Liquids.
