WHO: Students entering 2nd-4th grades
WHEN: August 10-14, 9:00-1:00pm
WHERE: Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum, 11 Center St.
Young writers, readers, and storytellers will explore all aspects of our love of a great story. We’ll write our own books and poems, hear from local authors, experiment with illustration techniques, and act out our favorite tales. Every kid will go home with a collection of their own works and will also receive a selection of new books to read and keep.
Kids should bring a packed lunch. A typical day will start with a group warm-up activity followed by projects and activities together. After lunch, campers will have an hour of free play in the museum or they may choose to return to a project to explore more deeply. We may also take a walking field trip to Rutland Free Library.
INSTRUCTOR: Amanda Begin and Wonderfeet Staff, guest authors and illustrators
